Folks, for once, we've got a wholesome tale from your server! This thread was posted by u/Rave-light, who recounted how they were working a shift and noticed a young woman who seemed uncomfortable on a bad first date. The server overheard the dude dismiss her favorite TV show as a "show for women" (the show was Fleabag so you know she had good taste and the guy was straight up in the wrong). When the guy left to go to the bathroom, the woman pulled the server aside and asked for help to get out of this.
And oh, did the server help! She went to the back and called the woman, pretending to be a friend in crisis. The woman left and after a little while, the guy bailed too. After some time passed, the woman called the server back to see if the coast was clear. It was, so she came back into the restaurant and was able to enjoy the rest of her pasta in peace.
